HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — After snapped in a three-game losing streak Wednesday night with a victory over Rice, Tulane looks to build on the momentum when they take on the Marshall Thundering Herd Saturday at 6 p.m. CST in the Cam Henderson Center.
The Green Wave (6-10, 1-2 C-USA) defeated the Owls, 72-58, with Kris Richard’s 23 points and three others in double figures.
Marshall (14-2, 3-0 C-USA) has won five straight including conference wins over Southern Miss, East Carolina and at UCF. The Thundering Herd is currently tied with Tulsa on top of the C-USA standings.
This will be the 10th meeting between the two schools in a series that began when Marshall joined Conference USA prior to the 2005-06 season.
