It’s not Starbucks, but it has free coffee and peppermints during finals. It doesn’t have the comfort of a dorm room but it has comfortable lounge chairs in case of an all-nighter. It’s Loyola’s very own Monroe Library, the winner of the “Favorite Place to Study.” Located right in the middle of the Peace Quad, Monroe’s library is a safe-haven for students in need of a good book, a free printer or some help with MLA format. It also helps that it’s one of the best college libraries in the country. “I love Monroe library because it’s the no. 5 library in the country and that speaks volumes not only about the university but the students too,” said Tiffany Dumas, business senior.
