If you were to pick up the city of New Orleans and turn it upside down, there’s no telling what would fall out- Mardi Gras beads, steaming pots of crawfish, fleur-de-lis anything.

    The list goes on.

One thing that would undoubtedly come pouring out, though, is alcohol. It’s no secret that New Orleans is known for its bars, specialty cocktails and parties that never seem to have a scheduled ending time. That’s why we’ve dedicated this issue of Wolf Magazine to arguably one of the best parts of going to college in New Orleans: the night life.

This year, we’ve zeroed in on the pride and joy of New Orleans’ night and day life scene, that most precious remnant of the city’s French heritage, the crown jewel of the South and the one marathon you won’t suffer for not training for- Mardi Gras.

Whether you’ve been wearing your Perlis shirt to bed every night since September, or the thought of snuggling up with your trusty friend Netflix trumps your desire to head to a parade, we’ve got you covered.

For the seasons that aren’t dripping with booze and glitter, we’ve provided a guide to nighttime spots that don’t break the bank and are nearby to boot. However you choose to spend your precious free time, we hope you keep it safe and, most importantly, fun.

    Cheers,

    Shannon Donaldson
