Brief: Students, organizations and professors honored at annual Magis Awards

Students, professors and campus organizations were awarded for their excellence in the 2014 Magis Student Leadership Awards.

The awards celebrate leadership and service in the Loyola community by recognizing and congratulating members of Loyola’s faculty, staff and student body on their exemplary work throughout the school year.

Twenty-one awards were given at the ceremony, held on April 29 in the St. Charles Room in the Danna Student Center. Among the award winners were Ashley Howard, Ph.D., who won Outstanding Faculty Member, and the Residence Hall Association, which won Student Organization of the Year.

The Magis Awards have taken place at Loyola for 32 years.
