With a menu straight from the streets of Florence, Italy, La Divina Gelateria is a place where students can find meals for any time of day. These are some of the reasons why students like Maura Vananzo, English writing freshman, enjoy the eatery.
“I work late, so it’s an option that is open, and I’m Italian too,” Vananzo says. “I really like their panini.”
Conveniently located in Carrollton Hall, La Divina offers flavorful panini sandwiches and all-natural gelato. Among their panini are breakfast options which come with a cup of fruit on the side. They also offer panini more apt for lunch and dinner, like Il Pollo Pranzo, a roast chicken panini, and the Verdura, a vegetarian-friendly option. To end on a sweet note, La Divina also offers pastries and gelato, which is crafted from scratch with all-natural ingredients. This process allows for the creation of original flavors like Ping Pong Red Cream Soda, Nutella, Sweet Potato and Bourbon Pecan.
