University police released a campus-wide BOLO report of a sexual assault today through e-mail at 2:51 p.m.
The Loyola student reported to campus police on Tuesday that the incident took place Sunday at approximately 7 a.m. in a parked car on North Road near the Freret Street Garage. University Police Captain Roger Pinac said, “We have an obligation to kind of look into the matter and … try to get a feel for the circumstances. We issue (the BOLO reports) assoon as we can once we know the information is valid.”
The sexual assault was reportedly by an acquaintance of the student who is not a member of the Loyola community.
