NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Emmy-winning actress Jessica Lange is visiting New Orleans this weekend to discuss her passion for photography at the Ogden Museum of Art.
The “Tootsie” actress is an accomplished photographer who in 1967 won a scholarship to study photography at the University of Minnesota. She left school and traveled to Paris, where she spent time with Robert Frank, Danny Lyons and other artists.
Lange is slated to host a presentation Sunday on her photography at the museum. She is also expected to talk about what it’s like to be in front of the camera. Lange’s acting career spans more than three decades. Her movie credits include “Country” and “Blue Sky” and she’s performed on stage in “Long Day’s Journey into Night” and “The Glass Menagerie.”
