On April 22 at 7 p.m., Leon Bass will speak to the New Orleans Jewish Community Center on his experience during World War II. Bass participated in the liberation of Buchenwald concentration camp and wrote a book on his experience as a soldier of a segregated country and army fighting a racist dictatorship.
