Loyola student arrested in connection to aggravated rape case

Police have arrested a Loyola student in connection with a case of aggravated rape that occurred at an Uptown bar.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on March 19, according to WDSU.com. The site also said the man who was arrested and charged was employed as a bartender at the site of the crime.

Police reports included mention of another man who was involved in the crime, but he has yet to be arrested, WDSU.com said.
