The Center for the Study of New Orleans will celebrate the second annual NolaLoyola “Beats of the Streets: The Brass Band Tradition in New Orleans,” on Friday, Sept. 28.
The all day event, co-sponsored by the College of Music and Fine Arts and the College of Social Sciences, will include performances by Baby Boyz Brass Band and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, among other keynote speeches and film screenings.
The full day of events is free and open to the public.
