Loyola, Tulane and University of New Orleans students respresenting groups such as NOLA Stop War, C3, and Last Stop War march in a “Die In” Tuesday to protest possible military action in Iraq.
Students dressed in black marched into the Peace Quad to the beat of a drum, thier faces painted white and their eyes blacked out. Some students fell and “died” while others used chalk to draw outlines of the bodies and write facts about Iraq on the ground.
Members of the groups are going to Washington D.C. this weekend for an anti-war protest.
