Mark is the current News Consultant for the Maroon. He is a history pre-law senior, and has previously served several positions as Op/Ed Editor, Interim Editorialist, Social Media Team and Broadcast Team Member, and Politics/Elections Editor. He has won collegiate awards for co-authoring articles with current EIC Eloise Pickering and former EIC Patrick Hamilton. He has also won professional awards from the Press Club of New Orleans, 2024 Best Editorial for “Illegitimi non carborundum: A Message to Dr. Cole,” and the Ashton J. Phelps, Sr. Award for Editorial Writing.
