Sister Helen Prejean, anti-death penalty expert and community activist, is visiting Loyola in the wake of LUCAP’s 40th anniversary.
Prejean will give a talk on social justice issues in Holy Name of Jesus Church on Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.
Known for her work with death row inmates and the death penalty, Prejean is a Louisiana native and member of the Congregation of St. Joseph in addition to being a published author.
This event will kick-off a year-long celebration of LUCAP’s 40th anniversary.
