The sounds of Greece, Byzantium, the Middle East and the Mediterranean will fill the ears of the audience in Nunemaker Hall on Sunday, Nov. 15.
The concert, titled “Sea of Sounds,” which is from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., will explore the heritage of the these places and their musical traditions. Free of charge, the event will feature songs such as Nightingales of Anatolia, a song that dates back to the 17th century. This event is being presented by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New Orleans Education, Culutre & Youth Committee and the Archives Committee.
