Faculty and staff to get raises

Faculty and staff will see a two percent merit pool salary increase starting Aug. 1, 2016 and the university will match the retirement fringe benefit starting in January 2017.

The Rev. Kevin Wildes, S.J., university president, announced these changes in an email sent to faculty and staff on Dec. 11. He said the Board of Trustees “unanimously approved” both of these benefits.

In the email, Wildes thanked the faculty and staff for their work to “make Loyola University New Orleans an exceptional environment for our students.” He also thanked the Board of Trustees for recognizing the faculty and staff’s work.
