Patricia Pearce was appointed the interim dean for the new College of Graduate and Professional Studies and will begin her one-year term on Aug. 1, 2016.
In an email sent to faculty on Dec. 16, Marc Manganaro, provost and vice president for academic affairs, said the search for a permanent dean for the new college will begin during the 2016-2017 school year.
According to the email, Pearce was appointed the interim director for the School of Nursing for the 2015-2016 school year and she is described as a “well-respected member of the professional nurse practitioner community.”
