The Loyola baseball team earned a split on Feb. 13 as they edged out Webber to grab a 3-2 victory in game one of the doubleheader.

The Wolf Pack got off to a fast start in the final game as they took a 5-0 lead.

However, Webber International recovered with five runs of their own in the sixth inning. Loyola scored one more run in the top of the seventh, but Webber used the last half inning to score two runs to win by a score of 7-6 in game two.

Loyola sits at 4-4 on the year after starting the season with three-straight victories.

The team returns home to take on College of Saint Joseph on Friday, Feb. 27, with the opening game of the doubleheader set to start at 4 p.m.
