In a campus-wide email on Feb. 22, Tommy Screen, director of the office of government and legal affairs, encouraged students to write to their legislators concerning the Taylor Opportunity Program Scholarship.
Screen wrote that more than 650 students are affected by the proposed changes. He provided a template for students to follow to email their state representatives and senators to ask them to provide full funding to the TOPS program.
