Looking to end a five-game losing streak, the Loyola University New Orleans Baseball team hit the road on April 12 to take on NCAA DII Spring Hill College.
It was a close game until Spring Hill’s offense came alive in the fifth inning and put together seven runs and although Loyola managed to shut out the Badgers for the remainder of the game, the seven run inning proved to be too much to overcome as the Wolf Pack handed the Badgers the 10-5 victory.
The Wolf Pack are now 18-26 on the season.
Loyola returns to Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) on Friday, April 15 as they travel to the University of Mobile for a three game series.
