Ten members of The Maroon won 16 awards at the 66th Annual Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony last Saturday, presented to them by the Press Club of New Orleans. Notably, The Maroon was the only college newspaper competing among citywide news organizations such as WDSU and WWL-TV.
