The department of philosophy, the New Orleans Lyceum, and Loyola Intensive English program will be holding the first Philo Café of the semester. The event will be Tuesday, Feb. 8 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Monroe Library Living Room. The topic of the session will be education. Questions will be posed about what prepares students for the “real” world and what this type of “real” world education look like. The discussion will be a round table discussion between students. Refreshments will also be served.
