A weather system that delivered snow and ice to the southeast has made it difficult for some students to return to Loyola in time for the start of the spring semester. The storm left roads covered with ice in Georgia, Miss., and and delivered snow to areas that don’t typically feel the effects of winter with such force. Reports now indicate the system of inclement weather is headed northeast and has caused New York to activate its state of emergency plan.
