Construction has ended in front of Loyola University and Tulane University on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line. The Regional Transit Authority started performing preventative maintenance on the streetcar line in front of the two universities early last year. During the construction, RTA provided buses to frequent the St. Charles route. Although the streetcars are now available in front of the universities, passengers are only able to ride until they reach St. Charles and Louisiana Avenue where the construction resumes.
