Rhonda Marie Causey, a former Information Technology employee at Loyola, died Feb.13 at the age of 44.
Her husband, Terry Causey, was also employed at Loyola through WFF.
According to Jan Hawkins, IT administrative assistant, Causey was a dedicated mother and a hard worker.
“She was a really devoted mother,” said Hawkins. “She also took computer classes at Delgado and maintained a 4.0.”
After Causey left Loyola, she was employed at Oschner Hospital, but she still kept in close contact with friends at the university.
Avia Morgan, manager of the Writing Across the Curriculum lab, was maid of honor at her wedding.
“She was a great friend,” said Morgan. “She’s going to be very missed.”
Services were on Feb. 22 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Causey is survived by her husband and two children, Angela and Trey.
