Jacques-Imo’s was a clear winner for Loyola’s Favorite Cajun or Creole Cuisine. Known for its eclectic mix of Creole and Cajun specialties like shrimp and alligator sausage cheesecake and Cajun bouillabaisse, Jacques-Imo’s is the product of owner/chef Jacques Leonardi. Jacques-Imo’s has been around for more than 15 years and its warm and funky environment attracts both locals and tourists alike. “I love the atmosphere. It’s small and cozy. It’s a very nice place, the food is good and it’s very New Orleans,” said Evan Labranche, psychology sophomore.
