An on-campus job is something that can either bring some more money to students’ pockets or drain students of time that can be devoted to class work – unless its the “Favorite On-Campus Job,” the Academic Resource Center located in Monroe Hall. The center offers tutoring in all subjects, academic counseling and assistance for students with disabilities. The students who call the ARC “work” are also able to take advantage of the ARC’s resources. Mathematics junior and work-study tutor in the ARC, Steffon Gray, said, “I think it’s one of the few jobs where you can actually get your work done while helping someone else. It’s truly a ‘work-study’ job.”
