SHALL WE DANCE?August 7 at the Sheraton New Orleans, World Promotions Inc. presents the 2005 Bourbon Street Ball. Ballroom dancers from around the world will come together for a full day of competitive dancing. Sunday night gives everyone a chance to dance with the stars and enjoy spectacular Cabaret performances by 12 times U.S. Rhythm Dance Champions Bob Powers and Julia Gorchakova. America is in the midst of a ballroom dance renaissance. With the sport in consideration as a possible Olympic Medal event in 2008 – it has gained even more momentum in the past few years. Now, with Hollywood getting in on it, ballroom dancing is fast making its way into the mainstream.
