Mike D’Antoni has resigned from his position as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, with one year still left in his contract. In his two seasons with the Lakers, he went 67-87.
The two seasons consisted of an injury to their star player, Kobe Bryant, last year and their worst record in franchise history this year, 27-55.
