The Honorable Bernette Johnson, current associate justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court and future Chief Justice, will deliver the keynote address for “Narratives of Equality – Reflections on Equal Protection and Diversity.”
The symposium focuses on race in higher education and diversity in universities. The program will also explore the role of race in admissions to public universities around the country. The symposium will take place on Nov. 9 at the College of Law, room 308 from 12:30 – 6:15 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
