On Wednesday, Oct. 30, Loyola’s Student Government Association chartered two new organizations on campus: Humans vs. Zombies and Students for Educational Reform. Humans vs. Zombies is an organization of Loyola students that play against Tulane students in a game of tag. The object of the game is for students marked as zombies to chase students. The game will take place once a semester and begin at midnight on a Monday and end on the Saturday at 8 p.m. of that same week.
Students for Educational Reform is an organization focused on raising awareness about educational injustices and finding ways to improve them. The organization plans to address school board representatives and government officials about the education reform issues. The organization also plans to host film screenings, panel discussions and give opportunities to students.
