The Student Government Association has allocated $42,195.66 to student organizations out of a total requested amount of $58,338.47. Currently 22 events have been funded by SGA, economics senior and SGA vice president of finance Logan McCabe said.
$27, 804.34 remain in the SGA allocation budget. Jasmine Barnes, SGA president and mass communication senior, said that although the allocation budget was less than previous years, the overall percentage was higher. Allocations represent 38 percent of the budget compared to last year’s 34 percent, McCabe said.
