The Maroon won the Loyola Connect competition on Nov. 2. The results were announced at Wolves on the Prowl. The group received a $5,000 prize. The sponsors were Loyola’s Office of Institutional Advancement and Loyola alumni. The premise of the competition was to “make a positive impact on Loyola’s campus and in the community,” according to Loyola Connect website. The Maroon plans to send members to professional development conferences and update their advertisement software.
