Brief: TOPS founder honored with Integritas Vitae Award

Loyola has chosen Phyllis M. Taylor to receive the 2013 Integritas Vitae Award. Taylor is the chairwoman and president of the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation and chairwoman of Endeavor Enterprises L.L.C.

The Integritas Vitae Award is presented to an individual who exhibits the values and philosophy of a Jesuit education. These values include moral character, service to others and unquestionable integrity.

Taylor’s husband, Patrick Taylor, established the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students, or TOPS, helping Louisiana students receive merit-based college tuition. The Foundation donated $1.26 million Loyola for first generation Louisiana college students.
