On Sunday, Sept. 29, Audubon Park and the streets of Uptown New Orleans will host the largest 24th annual AIDS awareness event in Louisiana. The event benefits NO/AIDS Task Force. Registration begins in Audubon Park at 8 a.m.
The walk will start at 10 a.m. proceeding from Audubon Park, up Prytania to Napoleon. Walkers will then turn from Napoleon to Magazine where they will return to Audubon Park. There will be water stops for walkers, rest stops for pets and children’s activites along the route. Food and drinks will be provided by Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Uptown, Rain Vodka and Coors Light.
