You know you go to Loyola when The Boot gets voted as a “favorite” in not just one, but two categories in the campus magazine. That’s right, y’all. It’s that time of year again- the list of Loyola’s Favorites has been determined. Based on polls of the Loyola community, Wolf Magazine has compiled a list of your favorite spots for food, drinks, entertainment, and goods and services. In a city so full of culture and life like New Orleans, we know it can be hard to pick your favorites, so we’d like to say thanks for helping us flesh out the best options for Loyola students around.

Use this issue as a guide to trying something new, or perhaps reaffirming an old favorite. If you’re anything like me, you spend so long weighing your restaurant options that by the time you’ve reached a decision, the restaurant you decided on is already closed and you have to settle with Taco Bell or some other 24-hour option.

Hopefully this issue will lead you to a decision that won’t cause another Taco Bell-fueled “food hangover” (or an embarrassing confession like this one!) So open your mind to something new, Loyola. Whether it be going to your first Naughty Professor show, diving in to a deliciously gooey plate of nachos from Felipe’s, or finding a hidden gem among the racks of clothes at Buffalo Exchange, we hope that you’ll find a few new favorites of your own.
