The Office of Student Affairs and the First Year Experience program will host a lecture by Mark Moellendorf on the history and influence of Voodoo traditions in New Orleans on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium.
Moellendorf is a noted elder in Haitian Vodou and acts in religious capacity as Keeper of Traditions of the Vodou faith. He is also well known for his knowledge of New Orleans history. He has been a resident of the city for 15 years.
