The Jesuit Social Research Institute will host an anti-racism workshop for Loyola faculty, staff and students.
The event will take place 7-9 p.m. on February 7 in the Octavia Room and will continue during 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. February 8 in the Audubon Room.
The workshop will feature members of the Pax Christi USA Anti-Racism Team and hopes to explore a faith-based understanding of anti-racism rooted in Catholic social teaching and scripture, introduce definitions of racism that will enable people to dismantle racism, present a critical analysis of racism and explore concrete ways people can become more anti-racist and multi-cultural.
