InBus is having a Cajun swamp tour of the Manchac Swamp in LaPlace, La. on Sunday, April 10 at 10 a.m., leaving from the Mercy Hall lot.
Those interested in the trip should sign up by Tuesday, March 29 at 2 p.m.
The trip costs $30 and space will be limited, so it will be on first come, first serve basis.
The tour can serve as an educational experience on the American alligator, and habitats of Louisiana wetlands.
The tour will also cover the history of the Cajun town of Frenier that is on the swamp property.
