Dear Editor,
(In response to the Feb. 20 article “Middle East peace studies arrive at Loyola this fall”) Thanks to writer Steve Heath for coming to the talk, asking an interesting question and reporting the event in the Maroon. However, there were some inaccuracies in the report.
1. The number of participants were more than 50. I counted up to 100 and then stopped. I estimate the number of participants to be around 110 to 120.
2. No faculty member asked a question.
3.The Middle East peace studies is still a proposal and not yet a program. Your headline suggests that program will be there next semester. This is our hope, but we can’t say that for sure.
