Loyola University Women’s Basketball team was ranked second in the Southern States Athletic Conference 2012 preseason coaches’ poll. The team was ranked third among all teams in the SSAC behind Lee University and Faulkner College, with Faulkner edging out the Wolf Pack for the top spot in the SSAC West. The team begins its regular season in Miami on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. against Johnson and Wales University, followed by a 2 p.m. game the next day against St. Thomas University.
