Alexis Horton, Assignment Editor
Alexis Horton is the Assignment Editor for the Maroon Minute. She was previously the Lead Anchor. She is a mass communications major with a concentration in journalism and a minor in political science. Alexis works as a News Researcher and on the Digital Team at WWL-TV. She received accolades from New Orleans Press Club. Alexis was raised in Slidell and enjoys binging true crime podcasts and playing Sims.
