Macie Batson, Editor in Chief

Macie Batson has been a writer for The Maroon since 2021 and serves as one of the 2023 editors in chief. During her time as The Maroon’s Senior Staff Writer in 2022, she placed in the top 20 finalists for the Hearst Feature Writing competition. She is a second semester senior and will graduate in May with a degree in mass communication with a concentration in journalism and English Writing. Batson enjoys spending her free time hanging out with her two labradors, Finnegan and Rey.
