On Saturday, Sept. 27, Tipitina’s will be hosting the Rhythm and Blues 5K run, a fundraiser for New Orlean’s elementary, middle and high school marching bands.
Registration will begin at 4 p.m. with the race starting at 5 p.m.
Along the route, runners will be entertained by high school marching bands. The first five hundred people who finish the race will be awarded and food and refreshments will be served.
The night will conclude with a concert in front of Tipitina’s Uptown. The price is $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
