Gun fired during Uptown parades

It was reported by the New Orleans Police Department that a man had been shot between St. Charles and Napoleon Avenue around 3 p.m. today.

The parades stopped for approximately 15 minutes before they restarted.

Police are currently investigating, but current state of the unidentified victim is unknown.
