If Kaitlin Ketchum believes that drilling a hole into the skullof an almost fully born infant in order to suck out its brains is a “political” matter (“Anti-Choice Display Outrageous, then Loyola may be failing its student body in ways Ms Ketchum has thus far failed to apprehend, all of them having to do with the inculcation of rationality, knowledge and the most fundamental apprehension — the faintest, most primal and instinctive awareness — of what used to be known as “Right” and “Wrong” before the moral relativists took over. To the anti-Choice demonstrators, my warmest commendation. (Choice of what, incidentally? Infanticide?) As for Ms Ketchum’s generous admission that Loyola “is a Catholic university, and that the Church as an institution morally opposes abortion, all of which is fine and good, but that doesn’t mean that the rest of us should just have to sit back and take it” — darling airhead, (1) who forced you to attend a Catholic University, and (2) please find one of those photos the demonstrators were assualting your senses with, take it with you to a quiet place, and then study it. And think. That may have a good outcome as I’m sure your intentions were kind and sincere.
