Loyola has asked students to limit water usage, as low water pressure affects the area, according to an email from Todd Warren, director of university police and emergency management. The low water pressure is the result of a water main break on Upperline St. and S. Claiborne Ave, which is affecting both the main campus and the Broadway campus, according to the email.

Students have been given methods for reducing water usage, like delaying showers, lowering length of water usage, or staggering showers if in community bathrooms, according to an email sent to residents by Chris Rice, director of residential life.

Students have also been asked to notify residential life staff if a leak occurs once water pressure is restored.

The Loyola community will be notified when water pressure has returned to normal. Classes will resume as scheduled, Warren said in the email.
