Following the departure of Nathan Ament, Loyola welcomes Anthony E. Jones to serve as the vice president of enrollment beginning on May 13.

In an email to the university, Xavier Cole, university president, said Jones has almost 30 years of experience in higher education leadership and  brings an innovative approach to enrollment and a deep commitment to increasing access for underrepresented and marginalized students.

Jones, who is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, is coming to Loyola from Bethune-Cookman University and previously held positions at DePauw University, Fisk University, and Howard University.

“I’m confident he will help steer our future enrollment strategies to drive growth and promote access,” Cole said. “His exceptional track record and outstanding leadership skills make him the ideal choice to help guide our institution through the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
