BREAKING: Loyola University Police Department has sent out a campus-wide email sharing the University’s procedures in the event that a officer from a law enforcement agency, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement, contacts or approaches anyone on campus. According to LUPD, Loyola follows all laws regarding student and employee privacy and will ensure that records will not be released without a valid court order or subpoena. Should anyone be contacted by or encounter a federal immigration officer on campus, LUPD encourages students and faculty to call them for assistance.
