An elephant performs tricks for spectators at Audubon Zoo.The Audubon Nature Institute wants the property tax increased to pay for its operations and new construction projects for both the zoo and the aquarium. If voters decide to increase Audubon Zoo’s property tax on March 15, visitors will be paying more to see their favorite zoo animals.
