Honorary degrees recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves for either lifetime accomplishments or an extraordinary achievement. Nominees should reflect the goals of Loyola and act as role models for graduates. Commencement speakers are recognized as individuals of prominence who also represent Loyola’s mission and values and would deliver an inspiring address to the graduating class. Nominations should be submitted with reasons supporting the nominee and as much biographical data that can be gathered. Nominations are to be submitted to Elizabeth Kordahl by Oct. 12.
